Dieser großformatige Stich stammt aus der Serie „Cries of London“ von Francis Wheatley R.A. und wurde von Luigi Schiavonetti gestochen; das Entstehungsdatum ist unbekannt. Zwischen 1792 und 1795 stellte Wheatley 14 Gemälde der Serie „Cries of London“ in der Royal Academy aus. Die Bilder erregten auf der Ausstellung großes Aufsehen, und Colnaghi & Co. erklärte sich rasch bereit, eine Serie von Stichen zu veröffentlichen.
