HERVIEU Jacques – (1933–2010), Zeichnung Aktstudie auf der Vorderseite, eine Pfeife auf der Rückseite Akademische Zeichnung mit schwarzem und weißem Bleistift auf Papier Lichtflecken, Stockflecken, Knicke, Risse Maße: 32 x 24,5 cm Jacques Hervieu war ein normannischer Autor aus Périers im Departement Manche. Er engagierte sich im lokalen Leben und wurde Richter, später Präsident des Handelsgerichts von Coutances. Als Autodidakt und begeisterter Liebhaber der Geschichte seiner Region hinterlässt er zahlreiche Schriften und Zeitzeugenberichte zur Normandie und zum Zweiten Weltkrieg. Sein Werk „C’était pendant l’exode. Normandie, été 1944“ (Es war während der Flucht. Normandie, Sommer 1944), das 2024 posthum veröffentlicht wurde, schildert die Flucht seiner Familie während der Landung der Alliierten.
