Verso auf Keilrahmen betitelt Gerahmt 53 × 73 cm Das vorliegende Gemälde zeigt das Dorf Flims vor der imposanten Felswand des Flimsersteins. Bereits Giovanni Giacometti hatte sich 1904 in seinem monumentalen "Flimser Panorama", das als Auftragswerk für das Hotel Waldhaus entstand, mit dieser Landschaft auseinandergesetzt. Während Giacometti die Bergwelt zu einer weitläufigen Panoramakomposition zusammenführte, konzentriert sich Storch-Alberti auf das Zusammenspiel zwischen der dörflichen Siedlung und dem mächtigen Gebirgsmassiv. Die kräftigen Farbkontraste und der lebendige Pinselduktus verleihen seiner Darstellung einen expressiven Charakter. 1937 stellte Storch-Alberti auch in Flims aus.
