BOUFFLERS Stanislas-Jean, Chevalier de [Nancy, 1738 – Paris, 1815], Schriftsteller und Dichter, war Gouverneur des Senegals. Eigenhändiger Brief an Mlle Willams. 6. Januar 1808; 2 Seiten in-8° mit Anschrift und Poststempeln. Der Chevalier de Boufflers wird sie besuchen, um die Übersetzung zu begutachten: „Sie werden bei mir all die Fügsamkeit vorfinden, die ein Übersetzer einem Autor schuldet, der ihn stets bezaubert, ihn oft demütigt und ihn manchmal zur Verzweiflung treibt …“. Beigefügt ist ein eigenhändiger Brief seiner Frau, der Marquise de Boufflers, an Frau Baubé, datiert vom 14. August 1815.
