Sie enthält zahlreiche Auszüge aus dem „Nouveau Magasin français“ (1750–1752), einer der ersten Frauenzeitschriften, die vom Prinzen von Beaumont während seines Aufenthalts in England (1748–1761) gegründet und herausgegeben wurde. Zahlreiche Artikel über die Erziehung von Frauen und jungen Mädchen sowie über berühmte Frauen. Band III enthält „L’Adepte moderne ou le secret des francs-maçons“ (S. 1–237).
