874 - [MÜNSTER, Sebastian] Brabantia V Rheni et X nova tabula. [Basel, H. Petri 1542] Holzschnitt, 25,7 x 34,2 cm (am unteren Rand beginnende Risse, leicht vergilbt). Seltene frühe Karte der Niederlande, sehr wahrscheinlich nach Van Deventer, da die Gewässerdarstellung nahezu identisch ist. Münster stellte den Verlauf des Rheins auf fünf Karten dar, wobei diese als letzte den Unterlauf abdeckt; sie zeigt u. a. die Städte Antwerpen, Brüssel, Roermond, Köln, Bonn usw. Nach 1542 überarbeitete Münster die 5 Rheinkarten zu nur noch 3, sodass diese Karte nur in 2 Auflagen erschien. Entnommen aus Münsters Ausgabe von „Geographia universalis [...]“ aus dem Jahr 1542.
