Set aus drei Sesseln. Italien, 1960er Jahre. Schwarz lackiertes Metallgestell, Rückenlehne und Seiten aus Buchenholzlatten sowie Sitzfläche aus kreuz und quer verlaufenden Riemen. Herkunft: ein Architekturbüro in Rom. Maße: 67 x 72 x 61 cm. Sitzhöhe: 36 cm. Set aus drei Sesseln mit architektonischem Design, gekennzeichnet durch ein Rohrgestell mit durchgehendem Profil und freitragenden Stützen. Die horizontalen Buchenholzlatten umschließen die Rückenlehne und die Seiten und bilden eine umhüllende Struktur, die im Vergleich zur Sitzfläche aus Gurtband Leichtigkeit ausstrahlt. Ihre offene Geometrie und die Kombination aus Holz und Metall verbinden sie mit dem rationalistischen Stil. Bei diesen Sesseln zeigt sich der Bezug zum Rationalismus im sichtbaren Metallgestell, in der geordneten Anordnung der Leisten und in der Sitzfläche aus Gurtband: Jedes Element erfüllt eine bestimmte Funktion und bestimmt gleichzeitig das Erscheinungsbild.
