Provenienz A. Frank, Kopenhagen, 5.12.1953, Lot 2 (als P. Claesz). - H. Ferlov, Kopenhagen, 24.11.1954, Lot 379 (als holländische Schule des 17. Jh.). - Slg. Knud Christensen, Kopenhagen. - Deutsche Privatsammlung. Literatur P. Gammelbo: Dutch Still-life Painting: From the 16th to the 18th Centuries in Danish Collections, Kopenhagen 1960, (als Fray Juan Sanchez Cotan, zugeschrieben), Nr. 39, S. 40, m. Abb. - P. Gammelbo: Floris Gerritz van Schooten, in: Nederlands Kunsthistorisch Jaarboek XVII (1966), S. 105–42, Nr. 80, S. 133. - N. R. A. Vroom: A modest message as intimated by the painters of the "Monochrome banketje", Schiedam 1980, Nr. 600.
