Die Geburt des Thronfolgers von Frankreich, Frankreich, um 1787 Fächer, historisches Andenken: Das gravierte und mit Gouache verzierte Papierblatt zeigt König Ludwig XVI., der seine Gattin, Königin Marie-Antoinette, sowie Ludwig, ihr 1787 geborenes erstes Kind und Thronfolger von Frankreich, empfängt. Zwei seitliche Kartuschen enthalten Verse, die diese Geburt feiern: „Lass uns das Glück spüren/ Gefeiert an diesem Tag/ Drei wohltätige Gottheiten/ Gefeiert (sic) an diesem Tag/ Bourbon, Österreich und die Liebe“. Die Rückseite ist unbeschriftet. Rahmen aus Knochen, die Federbüsche sind graviert. (Abnutzungsspuren, Restaurierungen.) Höhe: 27 cm; Höhe des Blattes: 12,4 cm In einer Schachtel, auf deren Deckel die Adresse des Pariser Parfümeurs Vanier Chardin vermerkt ist. Sachverständige: Georgina Letourmy-Bordier
