Wagenseller, Philadelphia 1882. Gentry war Mitglied der Akademie der Naturwissenschaften in Philadelphia und verfasste mehrere weitere Bücher, darunter „Life Histories of Birds of Eastern Pennsylvania“ und „The House Sparrow“. Der Künstler dieser Tafeln, Edwin Sheppard, galt als der beste ornithologische Künstler Amerikas.
