Willy und ist Teil von Charles Lucien Bonapartes „Iconographie des pigeons …“, erschienen in Paris und gedruckt bei Lemercier im Jahr 1857. Dieses Werk gilt als eines der besten Bücher, die jemals zum Thema Tauben veröffentlicht wurden. Es war ursprünglich als Ergänzung zu Mme. Knips „Les Pigeons“ gedacht, stellt jedoch ein eigenständiges Werk dar. Die auf dieser Lithografie abgebildeten Tauben sind die Aschetaube (Peristera cinerea) und die Purpurflügel-Bodentaube (Peristera geoffroyi).
