LANGENBERG, JOHAN Cologne Title: Small Pear Wood and Iron Double Coin Scale. Date: 1642-1657. Material: Box made of pear wood. Iron scales with brass weighing scales and beige cords. Brass weights. Measurement: 3 x 12.56,5 cm. Mark: One of the weighing pans marked Johann Langenberg. The inscription on the slid-out lid compartment very severely faded. Description: Rectangular box with ornamental embossed and incised decor. In the drawer five weights with coin images and the weight indications in black ink. Under the slid-out lid compartment an additiional eight weights. The beam scales with a round and a triangular weighing pan.
