Mark: Inscribed and dated on the lid: 'Wag unnd Gewicht macht M: Tonnes Reidt wonende auffm Brandt in Collen Anno 1683'. A weighing pan, maker's mark Antonius Reidt 1653. Description: A large, rectangular box with ornamental embossed and engraved decoration, featuring three bolts and a pair of weighing forceps inserted into the side. The drawer contains 40 weights bearing coin designs. There are two counterweights beneath the lid.
