LOUIS FÉRAUD. Bustier-Cocktailkleid aus blauem und schwarzem Seidensatin, das strukturierte Oberteil wird durch einen wellenförmigen Einsatz betont. Der Rock besteht aus mehreren Reihen übereinanderliegender, kaskadenförmig angeordneter Rüschen. Um 1985 Größe 42 Louis Féraud, ein Modeschöpfer von der Riviera, der zu einer Ikone der Pariser Haute Couture wurde, machte Farbe und Volumen zu seinem Markenzeichen. Brigitte Bardot, die er für etwa zwanzig Filme einkleidete, verhalf ihm zu Ruhm. Er präsentierte seine erste Haute-Couture-Kollektion 1958 an der Seite von Dior, Balenciaga, Lanvin und Givenchy. Dieses Kleid erinnert mit seinen kräftigen Farbtönen und seinen weiten Linien an die Kühnheit von Yves Saint Laurent: derselbe Geschmack für leuchtende Farben, dasselbe Gespür für die Silhouette.
