BOISSIER (Émile); [LENOIR]. (ill.) Paris, A. Arnould, o. J. [um 1900].. Der Buchmaler Marcel Lenoir. Der Mensch und sein Werk. Schmales In-4 (27,3 x 12,2 cm), broschiert, illustrierter Einband. Erstausgabe dieser Hommage an den vielseitigen Künstler Marcel Lenoir (Pseudonym von Jules Oury). Dieses Werk würdigt die symbolistische Schaffensphase des Künstlers, die um 1902–1903 endete, als er sich einem etwas naturalistischeren Stil zuwandte. Die Ausgabe ist mit 70 Schwarz-Weiß-Reproduktionen von Lenoirs Werken, zwei Porträts des Künstlers im Text sowie einer fotografischen Reproduktion auf der Vorderseite des Einbands und einer Karikatur auf der Rückseite verziert. Einband verblasst, Heftung schwach, Seiten leicht geknickt. Herkunft: Sammlung Gérard Lévy.
