Griechische Wandleuchte. 3.–2. Jahrhundert v. Chr. Bronze. Gewicht: 37 Gramm. Länge: 99 mm. Herkunft: Familiennachlass von Ramon Martí Alsina und Ricard Martí Aguiló. Archäologische Sammlung, die seit den 1950er Jahren von aufeinanderfolgenden Generationen der Familie durch Ankäufe in europäischen Galerien und Auktionshäusern zusammengetragen wurde. Griechische Wandleuchte aus den parthischen Provinzen (von der Türkei bis zum Iran), datiert auf das 3. bis 2. Jahrhundert v. Chr. Die Darstellung zeigt eine stehende Figur im Profil mit kurzem Bart und toupiertem Haar, die einen Kopfschmuck und eine drapierte Toga trägt und einen Adligen oder hochrangigen Würdenträger darstellt. Der Arm ist nach vorne ausgestreckt, und auf der Rückseite sind Reste der Befestigung zu erkennen, an der die Figur angebracht war. Sie gehörte wahrscheinlich zu einer Brosche oder einem Verschluss mit einer Nadel auf der Rückseite.
