Frauenfigur. Römisches Reich, 2.–3. Jahrhundert n. Chr. Terrakotta. Maße: 18 x 5 x 4 cm. Herkunft: Familiennachlass von Ramon Martí Alsina und Ricard Martí Aguiló. Archäologische Sammlung, die seit den 1950er Jahren von aufeinanderfolgenden Generationen der Familie durch Ankäufe in europäischen Galerien und Auktionshäusern zusammengetragen wurde. Dieses Stück gehörte zuvor zur O.C.-Sammlung (Madrid). Eine Terrakotta-Skulptur, die eine weibliche Figur darstellt, deren Hand vor der Brust ruht und deren Blick geradeaus gerichtet ist. Der Zahn der Zeit hat ihre Gesichtszüge so stark geglättet, dass es schwierig ist, sie mit Sicherheit zu identifizieren; es handelt sich wahrscheinlich um eine Göttin (vermutlich nicht Venus) oder eine Kaiserin.
