MICHELIN – um 1960 Lkw-Reifen – Seltene, einseitige Original-Werbe-Emailleplakette mit Rand und wappenförmigen Laschen. Ca. 45 x 37,5 cm. „EAS“ Diese in jeder Hinsicht prächtige Plakette weist einen perfekten Glanz und die ursprünglichen Farben auf, ganz wie am ersten Tag. Hergestellt von der Émaillerie Alsacienne in Straßburg, ist diese Version von hoher Qualität und verfügt noch über ihre drei originalen Messingösen an den Befestigungspunkten. Es sind lediglich winzige Emailleabplatzungen an den Ecken zu erkennen. – ein sehr schönes Exemplar – Darauf ist der „Bibendum“ nach O’Galop (Marius Roussillon) neben einem „LKW“-Reifen zu sehen, ein Bild, das die Zeit überdauert. André Michelin und sein Bruder Édouard Michelin übernahmen 1886 das Familienunternehmen Barbier-Daubrée. Am 28. Mai 1889 in Clermont-Ferrand wurde der Firmenname der Manufaktur in „Michelin et Cie“ geändert. Puy-de-Dôme/Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
