Pieta Christus in den Armen seiner Mutter Maria, in einer hochemotionalen, intimen Nahaufnahme wird dem Betrachter der Schmerz der Gottesmutter Maria nahegebracht, das Motiv gehört zu den meist rezipierten in der christlichen Ikonographie, es gibt mehrere vergleichbare Arbeiten, die immer wieder in den flämischen Raum, zum Teil konkret in die Nachfolge Quinten Massijs gerückt werden, hier könnte es sich ebenfalls um eine flämische oder italoflämische Variante des Motivs handeln, Öl auf Laubholz, wohl 17. Jh., unsigniert, Altersspuren, minimale Restaurierungen, schwarz lackierter Rahmen mit goldverzierten Profil, rückseitig altes Etikett "L'Arte Antica Livorno", datiert 1998, Maße Holzplatte 32,5 x 23,5 cm.
