Seutter...", links unten prächtige Legende, Darstellung des Gebiets zwischen Dänemark im Norden, Warschau im Osten, Venedig im Süden und Canterbury im Westen, flächenkolorierter Kupferstich, um 1730, geringe Erhaltungsmängel, unter Passepartout und hinter Glas gerahmt, Darstellungsmaße ca. 49 x 57 cm. Künstlerinfo: auch Saiter, Seiter, Seuter Seyder, dt. Kartograph, Kupferstecher und Verleger (1678 Augsburg bis 1757 Augsburg), Sohn des Goldschmieds Matthäus I., ab 1697 Lehre bei Johann Baptist Homann in Nürnberg, nach Augsburg zurückgekehrt, Mitarbeit im Verlag Jeremias Wolff, 1710 Gründung eines eigenen Verlags mit Druckerei, 1731 zum kaiserlichen Geographen ernannt, nach Seutters Tod 1757 wurde der Verlag durch seinen Sohn Albrecht Karl (1722-1762), den Schwiegersohn Tobias Conrad Lotter (1717-1777) und den langjährigen Mitarbeiter Johann Michael Probst (gest. 1805) weitergeführt, Quelle: Thieme-Becker und Internet.
