Antikenrezeption Büste der Sappho 20. Jh., ungedeutete Herstellermarke sowie geritzte M 40, Steinguss farbig gefasst, Kopfdarstellung der griechischen Dichterin Sappho (geboren um 630-612 v. Chr. auf Lesbos, gestorben um 570 v. Chr.), einer der neun kanonischen Lyrikerinnen der Antike, oft als „zehnte Muse“ bezeichnet, Kopfdarstellung mit kunstvoll geflochtenem Haar und in leicht nach unten geneigter Haltung, mit Eisenstab auf gegossenem Sockel montiert, das Original wird im Nationalmuseum in Athen aufbewahrt, es ist bekannt, dass die Büste in Perinthos in Thrakien gefunden wurde und aus der griechischen Kulturepoche (ca. 4.
