Joseph Humplik, Schreitende mit Panther um 1910, auf der Plinthe signiert, Gießerstempel Arthur Rubinstein Wien, Bronze hell patiniert, weiblicher Halbakt, der Unterkörper von einem fließenden Tuch umschlungen, auf der Schulter einen fauchenden Panther balancierend, auf oblonger Plinthe, auf Onyxsockel montiert, dieser winzigst bestoßen, H Bronze 22 cm, H gesamt 26 cm. Künstlerinfo: Bildhauer, Maler, Medailleur und Grafiker aus Wien (1888-1958), sein Schwerpunkt lag auf Portraitbüsten, Werke in Stein, Metall und Holz, Tätigkeit am Burgtheater und für die Porzellanmanufaktur Augarten, zu seinen bedeutenden Arbeiten gehören u. a. die Totenmaske Adolf Loos (1933) und Portraitbüsten zahlreicher Zeitgenossen.
