Silberhumpen im Ledermantel wohl England, datiert 1655, Silber gestempelt mit Meistermarke RI im Rechteck mit gepunktetem Rand, gravierter Schriftzug: "1655 The Legacy of Nicholas Strachey", in der Wandung aufgelegtes Wappenschild mit graviertem Familienwappen der Familie Strachey Sutton Court Stowey Somerset England, Deckel mit getriebenem Commonwealth-Motiv Oliver Cromwells zu Pferde mit lateinischem Schriftzug: "OLIVARIUS DEI GRA(TIA) REIP(UBLICAE) ANGLIÆ SCOTIÆ ET HIBERNIÆ & PROTECTOR", der zylindrische Korpus und der Boden mit Leder verkleidet, Standring und Lippenrand montiert mit umlaufendem Kymation, der lederne Griff mit daran scharniertem, übergreifendem Klappdeckel mit eingerolltem Drücker, Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, Deckel schließt nicht ganz, H 25 cm.
