A helmet M 1886 for officers of the Bavarian Army, circa 1910 Helm für Offiziere im K.B. Inf.-Leib-Regiment, der Pioniere oder im Eisenbahn- und Telegraphen-Bataillon. Schwarzes Lackleder (stark krakeliert, kleine Abplatzer) mit versilberten Beschlägen (gedunkelt). Stirnseitig verschraubt das große bayerische Königswappen in Offiziersausführung (angeleimte Krone abgebrochen, separat anbei). Kreuzblatt mit drei weißen Sternkopfschrauben und kannelierter abschraubbarer Spitze. Lederunterlegte flache Schuppenketten an Steckrosetten mit beiden Offizierskokarden aus lackiertem Blech. Ockerfarbenes Lederschweißband und das ockerfarbene Seidenripsfutter (kleine Risse) angeschmutzt. Teils beschädigt, Trage- und Altersspuren. Condition: III
