A helmet M 1842 and a cuirass for troopers of Bavarian cuirassiers Stahlglocke mit Messingmontierung, auf dem Kamm die Chiffre „L“ für König Ludwig I., lederunterlegte Messingschuppenketten an Löwenköpfen, lackierte Mannschaftskokarde, schwarze Rosshaarraupe, ohne Futter, die Glocke innen schwarz und die Schirme innen grün lackiert. Dazu - nummerngleich - Kürassbrust und -rücken aus Stahl, an den Seiten gestempelt „B 388“ sowie „GF“, „Z“ mit Krone (Gewehrfabrik Amberg), umlaufende Messingnieten, tiefe Beschussprobe, zwei lederunterfütterte Messingschuppenbänder. Futter aus grobem naturfarbenen Leinentuch (teils vom Grund gelöst), darin eine Innentasche im Brustbereich, seitliche Einfassung des Futters aus rotem Tuch, originaler Bauchriemen vorhanden. Stahloberflächen fleckig, Rostspuren, der Kürass außen beschliffen. Teilweise unvollständig, leicht beschädigt, Trage- und Altersspuren. Repräsentatives Ensemble in guter Erhaltung mit dem sehr seltenen Originalfutter. Condition: II -
