A sabre of an officer of the 8th Machine Gun Company of the 14th (Baden) Infantry Regiment, circa 1924 Eigentumsstück mit schön vernickelter und beidseitig reich geätzter Rückenklinge, dabei die Inschrift „8. (M.G.) Komp. 14. Bad. Inf. Regt.“. Vernickeltes Bügelgefäß mit Fischhauthilze und Drahtwicklung. Schwarz lackierte Stahlscheide (berieben, Rostspuren) mit einem beweglichen Tragering und einem Gehängeriemen. Trage- und Altersspuren. Länge 94 cm. Zum II. Bataillon dieses 1921 aufgestellten Reichswehr-Regiments gehörte außer dem Bataillonsstab, der Nachrichtenstaffel sowie der 5. bis 7. Schützen-Kompanie auch die 8. MG-Kompanie. Condition: II
