A fine flintlock pistol by C. Rasch of Brunswick, circa 1760 Runder, brünierter Lauf mit abgesetzter Mittelschiene. Glatte Seele im Kaliber 15 mm. Aufgesetztes Silberkorn. Auf der Laufschiene in Silber tauschiertes, lateinisches Motto "Quo Fata Ducunt" ("Wodurch vermag man das Schicksal zu beherrschen?"). Über der Kammer plastisch in Silber aufgelegter türkischer Reiter, umgeben von Banddekor. Graviertes Schwanzschraubenblatt. Steinschloss mit geschnittenem Rocaillendekor und Signatur "C. Rasch Braunschweig". Vollschäftung aus leicht verschnittenem Nussholz mit Nase aus dunklem Horn. Reich reliefierte, feuervergoldete Garnitur aus Messing mit Trophäendekor zwischen Rocaillen.
