A fine chiselled, long flintlock shotgun by Oger Leblan, Maastricht, circa 1730 Achtkantiger, in rund übergehender Lauf mit glatter Seele im Kaliber 16,5 mm. In Messing eingelegtes Spinnenkorn. Über der Kammer fein geschnittener und gravierter Akanthuslaubdekor mit Blattmaskaron, gravierte Signatur „OGER LEBLAN”. Fein graviertes messingplattiertes Schwanzschraubenblatt mit versteckter Schraube. Schloss mit geschnittenem und graviertem Dekor, unter der Pfanne wiederholte Signatur. Reich verschnittene Vollschäftung aus schön gemasertem Nussbaumholz mit spanisierendem Kolben. Fein reliefierte und gravierte Messinggarnitur. Hölzerner Ladestock mit Horndopper, an der Gegenseite eiserner Kugelzieher an Messinghülse. Länge 139,5 cm. (R)oger Leblan um 1700-40 in Maastricht als Büchsenmacher nachgewiesen. Condition: II +
