An Italian long snaphaunce rifle with chiselled lock, circa 1670/80 Hochwertiger, schlanker Lauf, am Ansatz achtkantig mit fein gekehlten Rippen, dann sechzehnkantig, in rund übergehend. Kanonierte Mündung, achtfach gezogene Seele im Kaliber 15,5 mm. Aufgesetzte Visierung aus Messing mit Sattelkimme. Schloss mit fein im Brescianer Stil geschnittener Schlossplatte, Darstellung von exotischen Tieren zwischen Blattranken. Der Hahn zoomorph graviert, die Pfanne und Batterie fein geschnitten. Die Mechanik auf der Innenseite mit teils geschnittenen Federn und Resten von Bläuung. Vollschäftung aus Nussbaumholz, die Nase mit Eisenband verstärkt. Erhaben geschnitzter Rankendekor, auf der Wange die Darstellung der Göttin Diana. Gekehlter eiserner Abzugsbügel. Originaler hölzerner Ladestock mit eisernem Dopper. Länge 198 cm. Condition: II +
