A richly decorated crossbow, historicist style, probably Saxony, 19th century Brünierter Stahlbogen, rechts eine Radkreuzmarke mit drei Spitzen. Einbund (Bogen rutscht seitlich) und eiserner Aufhängering (beide mit Vergoldungsspuren), blau-gelbe Wollpompons (Leipzig?). Kunstvoll gefertigte gebauchte Säule aus feinmaserigem Holz, die Oberseite mit ausgedehnter Verbeinung, darauf geschwärzte Gravuren, beinerne Kolbenkappe. Die braunen Seitenflächen mit reichen Schnitzereien im Stil der Spätrenaissance (Ranken und Beschlagwerk). Eiserne Nuss (Seiten mit Messing plattiert) im Faden laufend, intaktes Schloss mit Nadelstecher, eiserner Abzugsbügel. Aufwendiger Klappdiopter, Bolzensattel fehlt. Teilweise kleine Fehlstellen an den Verbeinungen, Risse im Holz, deutliche Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Bogenweite 62 cm, Gesamtlänge 67,5 cm. Aufwendige Fertigung mit reicher Verzierung und intaktem Schloss. Sehr repräsentativ. Condition: II - III
