A Saxon sword, circa 1600 Breite, zweischneidige Klinge mit kurzer Schlagspitze. Die Klinge nahe der Spitze eingerissen, ein größerer Ausbruch. Weit ausladende, zur Klinge geneigte Parierstange mit sechskantigem Querschnitt. Terzseitig ein großer Parierring. Originale sechskantige Hilze (Fehlstellen), die Drahtwicklung fehlt. Runder, zehnfach facettierter Knauf mit aufgesetztem Vernietknauf. Narbige Oberflächen mit dunkler Rostpatina. Länge 73,5 cm. Seltene sächsische Waffe, die vermutlich bei Fußturnieren Verwendung fand. Vergleichbare Exemplare befinden sich in der Dresdener Rüstkammer. Siehe z.B.
