A South German dusägge (tessak) with Passau blade, circa 1580 Kräftige, leicht geschwungene Rückenklinge mit zweischneidiger Spitze. Unter dem Rücken beidseitig doppelte schmale Kehlung. Quartseitig fein gezahnte Passauer Wolfmarke mit Resten von Kupfereinlagen sowie ungedeutete Marke in Schildform. Daneben geschlagenes Meistermonogramm „MW“, in der Kehlung geschlagenes doppeltes „S“ zwischen kleinen Kreuzmarken. Typisches, geschwärztes Korbgefäß mit weit ausladender, s-förmig geschwungener Parierstange. Quartseitig Fingerbügel und Daumenring, Spangengefäß mit terzseitig großer geschlossener Platte. Gut ergänzte, lederbezogene Hilze, minimal wurmstichig. Rechteckiger Pagodenknauf mit flachem, abgesetztem Vernietknauf. Länge 105,5 cm. Condition: II -
