A South German or North Italian footsoldier's sword, ca. 1510 Zweischneidige Klinge mit rhombischem Querschnitt, im unteren Drittel stellenweise leicht schartig. Kräftige Fehlschärfe mit beidseitig doppelter Kehlung und beidseitig geschlagener kleiner Marke. Stark S-förmig geschwungene achtkantige Parierstange, die verdickten Enden der Arme mit sternförmigem Kerbdekor. Belederte, beidseitig gekehlte Hilze, die eiserne Knaufkappe mit fein gravierten Zierbändern seitlich der Kehlung. Länge 91 cm. Frühform des Katzbalgers mit noch nicht vollständig geschlossenem Brillengefäß. Condition: II
