Four oil flasks of various shapes, Etruscan, 7th century B.C. – 2nd century B.C. 1) Etrusko-korinthisches Kugelbalsamarium (Aryballos). Nach griechischem Vorbild in der Toscana produziertes Salbgefäß aus kalkhaltigem Ton. Zylindrischer, schmaler Hals über kugeligem Korpus. Waagrecht abstehender, breiter Rand. Bandförmiger Henkel. Bemalung mit horizontalen Streifen auf dem Bauch und Zungen auf der Schulter. Höhe 7,2 cm. 2) Etrusko-korinthischer Aryballos mit spitz zulaufendem Bauch. Unten winziger Standring. Zylindrischer, schmaler Hals über kugeligem Korpus. Waagrecht abstehender, breiter Rand. Bandförmiger Henkel. Bemalung mit einem horizontalen Streifen auf dem Bauch und kreisförmig angeordneten Punkten um mittleren Punkt auf der Schulter. Höhe 7,2 cm. Aus wenigen Scherben ohne Fehlstellen zusammengesetzt. 3) Etrusko-korinthischer Aryballos mit spitz zulaufendem Bauch. Unten winziger Standring. Zylindrischer, schmaler Hals über kugeligem Korpus. Waagrecht abstehender, breiter Rand. Bandförmiger Henkel. Bemalung mit einem Schuppen auf dem Bauch. Oberhalb des Fußes und auf der Schulter Zungen. Kurze Striche außen am Rand ringsherum. Höhe 10,2 cm. Ausbrüche unten am Standring. Henkel, Hals und Rand gebrochen und geklebt, dort mit kleinen Fehlstellen. 4) Großes, spindelförmiges Balsamarium. Hellenistische Zeit in Etrurien. Bemalung mit gekreuzten Linien am Hals. Minimale Ausbrüche an Fuß und Mündung, sonst intakt. Höhe 26,5 cm. KULTURGUT! Provenienz: Oberösterreichische Privatsammlung (Nachlass), erworben vom Vater in den 1980er Jahren im österreichischen und süddeutschen Kunsthandel. Condition: II +
