[...] Amsterdam, Gérard Tielenburg, 1764. 2 Bände (fortlaufende Paginierung) in einem Folioband, moderner Amateur-Kartonageeinband aus grünem Percalin. Seltene Erstausgabe dieses begehrten Werks über die Altertümer Siziliens, herausgegeben von Pieter Burman dem Jüngeren. Die Illustrationen bestehen aus einem von Houbraken nach Quinkhard gestochenen Porträt, einer wiederholten Titelvignette, einem Wappenbanner und 52 (von 54) beiliegenden Tafeln, darunter 20 numismatische Tafeln. Es fehlen die Tafeln 29 (S. 268 A) und 34 (S. xxv). Einige kleine Stockflecken. (Brunet, IV, 247; Cicognara, Nr. 2689.)
