A German armada chest, 1st half of the 17th century Rechteckige Kasse aus Eisenblech mit vernieteten Bandverstärkungen. Vorderseitiges Scheinschlüsselloch mit reich geschweifter Schlossplatte, seitlich zwei bewegliche Tragegriffe. Scharniergelagerter Deckel mit zwei Fallriegeln für Hangschlösser. Zentrales Schlüsselloch, die Abdeckung mit Maskaron. Originaler Hohldornschlüssel. An der Vorderseite des Deckels alte, genietete Reparaturstelle. Auf der Innenseite intakte Mechanik mit acht beweglichen Zuhaltungen. Geschlossene Deckplatte mit getriebenem floralem Dekor. Maße 40 x 65 x 45 cm.
