„La profusion du printemps“, attributed to Maison Christian Dior, after Giuseppe Arcimboldo (1526–1593), 20th century Polychrom glasierte Keramik, nachträglich mit Beton ausgefüllt; in die Füllung an der Unterseite eine Metallplatte mit zentraler Öffnung eingelassen. Vollplastische anthropomorphe Büste, deren Kopf und Oberkörper aus Früchten, Blüten, Gemüse und Blättern gebildet sind. Freie dreidimensionale Umsetzung von Arcimboldos Kompositköpfen als Allegorie des Frühlings. Vereinzelte kurze Risslinien in der Glasur. Maße ca. 48 × 42 × 26 cm. Das Modell gehört zu einer Folge von vier, jeweils einer Jahreszeit gewidmeten Büsten, die Christian Dior nach Arcimboldos Vier Jahreszeiten für die Ausstattung einer Modepräsentation im Pariser Grand Palais in Auftrag gab.
