"Die Erwartung" (The Anticipation), Arno Breker (Elberfeld 1900–1991 Düsseldorf), design probably 1978 Bronze, braun patiniert, auf grün-weiß geädertem Marmorsockel (lose aufgesetzt). Kniender weiblicher Akt, Oberkörper zurückgelehnt, Kopf zurückgeneigt, Augen geschlossen, Haar mit Haarband gefasst und im Nacken zum Zopf gebunden. Am rechten Bein bezeichnet „A. Breker“ und nummeriert 87/150, Gießerstempel „VENTURI ARTE“. Stellenweise Patinaabrieb an erhabenen Partien (Schultern, Knie, Fußrücken). Maße Figur ca. 30 × 17 × 28 cm. Arno Breker, ab 1927 in Paris, dem Umkreis von Maillol und Despiau verbunden, wandte sich in seinem Spätwerk fast ausschließlich der weiblichen Aktplastik zu. Condition: I -
