Tapis Samarcande en soie, (chaîne, trame et velours en soie), Turkestan occidental, vers 1940-1960. 213 x 123 cm Le fond cognac est rehaussé d'un décor de fleurs polychrome. La bordure principale est décorée du motif « Yunzaitou », dans lequel H. Bidder reconnaît un antique motif d'origine turque ; celui-ci revêtait une signification religieuse pour les anciennes tribus des Huns et des Turcs, est encadrée de nombreuses contre-bordures.
