Ein Set aus zwei bemalten Tonkrügen, Neolithikum, Majiayao-Kultur, Machang-Phase, bestehend aus zwei bemalten Tonkrügen mit doppelten Schlaufenhenkeln in auffälligem geometrischem Stil. Das erste Gefäß ist mit schwarzem Pigment verziert und weist am Rumpf große, kreisförmige Gittermedaillons auf, während der Hals mit vertikalen Streifenmotiven bemalt ist; ein vergleichbares Exemplar wurde am 8. November 2023 bei Sotheby’s London, Los 387, versteigert. Das zweite Gefäß weist geschichtete Bänder aus roter und schwarzer Farbe auf, verziert mit ineinander verschlungenen Rautenrasterfeldern und ornamentalen Halsfriesen. [] Privatsammlung, London.
