A beautiful series of large-format drawings created during the artist’s trip to Iceland when he was 25 years old. - On sturdy vellum. - Titled as follows in the lower left: The Buffer Helmet. - The Moon Goat. - A Hidden Raccoon. - The Swinging Ducks of Iceland. - Professor Minus on Vacation. - Signed “Otmar Alt Iceland” in the lower right. - Loose in a parchment folder. - Preserved in nearly flawless condition. - Presumably a gift from the artist to Rolf Renker, with whose family the artist had been friends since the early 1970s. - Also: Otmar Alt. Five color etchings. 1969. 39 _ 37 cm (65 _ 54 cm). All signed, dated, and numbered. The wide margins are slightly stained. A few tiny brown spots in the upper right corner along the edges of the sheats.
