Clos Erasmus, 2003. DOQ Priorat, Gratallops, Spanien. Rotwein. 1 Flasche, 75 cl. 99/100 Punkte von The Wine Advocate (Jay Miller, 2007). Zustand: IN (Into Neck)-Füllstand, am unteren Ende des Flaschenhalses, nahe dessen Basis. Vorderes Etikett lesbar, mit großflächigen Flecken, dunklen Stellen und oberflächlichen Abriebspuren. Unteres Etikett mit Flecken und Abnutzungsspuren. Lesbares, nummeriertes Rückenetikett des Kontrollrats, mit Abriebspuren und kleinen Stellen, an denen Papier fehlt, insbesondere ganz links. Schwarze Kapsel mit Falten, Knicken und Abriebspuren im oberen Bereich; rote Kappe mit geprägtem Emblem und oberflächlichen Gebrauchsspuren. Stammt aus einer Privatsammlung, die unter optimalen Temperatur- und Feuchtigkeitsbedingungen gelagert wurde. Der Clos Erasmus 2003 ist ein Jahrgang von großer Konzentration und Kraft, gekeltert von Daphne Glorian bei Clos i Terrasses in der D.O.Q. Priorat. Dieser Jahrgang besteht aus einer Cuvée aus 85 % Grenache und 15 % Syrah, die 18 Monate in neuen französischen Eichenfässern gereift ist. Aktuelle Kritiken beschreiben einen opulenten Wein mit einer umhüllenden Textur, fester Struktur und einem sehr langen Abgang: ein Priorat von enormer Tiefe und Ausdruckskraft.
