Teppich aus AMRITSAR (Indien) Drittes Drittel des 20. Jahrhunderts. Wollvelours auf Baumwollgrund. Ein kastanienbraunes Feld bildet den Hintergrund für breite, vielblättrige, mit Pflanzenmotiven verzierte Blütenkränze in versetzter Anordnung, dazwischen liegen Blumenkompositionen mit geschwungenen Ranken. Das Ganze bildet ein figuratives Muster. Breite, elfenbeinfarbene Bordüre mit einer Abfolge von aufblühenden, vielfarbigen Blütenkränzen. Sechs Gegenbordüren vervollständigen den Rahmen; sie sind alle mit Girlanden aus kleinen Blüten verziert. Kastanienbraune Borte. Sehr elegant. H_201 cm L_291 cm Gutachter: Frank KASSAPIAN
