Teppich MÉLAS Westliches Kleinasien. Um 1930 Technische Merkmale: Wollflor auf Wollgrund. Ein ziegelrotes Feld mit Blümchen und Teekannen, eingerahmt von vier elfenbeinfarbenen geometrischen Zwickeln, trägt ein sechseckiges, altgoldenes, gezacktes Gegenfeld, das mit einem doppelten rautenförmigen Medaillon in Ziegelrot, Altgold und Elfenbein verziert ist, mit Häkelverzierungen und Pflanzenmotiven sowie dessen strahlenförmigen Gegenstücken. Die Hauptbordüre im Abraché-Stil mit Kästchen aus sternförmigen Blütenkränzen wird von zwei Gegenbordüren in Ziegelrot und Elfenbein mit wellenförmiger Girlande und bunten Blüten umrahmt.
