Teppich aus ASSADABAD (Dorf in der Nähe von Hamadan) Iran. Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Wollflor auf Baumwollgrund. Auf einem marineblauen Feld heben sich zehn miteinander verbundene, gezackte, rautenförmige Medaillons ab, deren altrosa Zentrum eine dunkle, mehrfarbige, kreuzförmige Pflanzenkomposition trägt. Ihre gezackten Umrandungen sind in den Farben Elfenbein, Rubinrot, Saphirblau, Anthrazit und Seladon gehalten. Dazwischen befinden sich pyramidenförmige Blumensträuße mit smaragdgrüner Basis. Elfenbeinfarbene Bordüre mit vielfarbigen Pflanzenmotiven, umrandet von zwei königsblauen Gegenbordüren mit zweifarbigen, wellenförmigen Bändern. Äußere Sägezahnbordüre in Elfenbein und Ziegelrot.
