Wunderschöner KARATCHOFF-Teppich Kaukasus – Armenien. Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts Wollflor auf Wollgrund. Zwei ziegelrote „Reserven“ an beiden Enden des zentralen Feldes beherbergen Kästchenmuster, darunter solche mit Stäbchen, Sternen, Zacken und „Widderhörnern“ sowie verschiedene geometrische Formen. Das zentrale Medaillon, das auf einem violetten, „gepunkteten“ Feld ruht, ist ein elfenbeinfarbenes Achteck mit grünem Kern und verfügt über zwei ziegelrote Kästchen, ergänzt durch „Stäbe“ und verschiedene geometrische Symbole. Zwei gezackte Gegenbordüren rahmen das elfenbeinfarbene Hauptfeld ein, das mit kleinen kreuzförmigen Medaillons und bunten Dreiecken verziert ist.
