MARASALI-Teppich Kaukasus – Schirwan. Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Wollflor auf Wollgrund. Ein marineblauer Mihrab beherbergt drei bunt gefärbte Reiter, die inmitten von floralen Botehs und anderen Tieren reiten. Die Gewölbe sind mit kleinen kaukasischen Symbolen verziert. Die Hauptbordüre in Elfenbein zeigt eine Abfolge schraffierter „Papageien“ und wird von zwei Gegenbordüren in Marineblau und Kirschrot mit kleinen sternförmigen Blüten flankiert. Schöne Naivität.
