Teppich MELAYER Persien. Erstes Drittel des 20. Jahrhunderts. Wollflor auf Baumwollgrund. Ein marineblaues Feld umrahmt ein elfenbeinfarbenes, sechseckiges, längliches Gegenfeld mit Arabesken; dies dient wiederum als Rahmen für ein marineblaues, rautenförmiges Medaillon mit speerförmigen Hängern. Das Ganze ist mit einem unüberschaubaren Teppich aus kleinen, stilisierten, bunten Blüten überzogen. Vier Gegenbordüren – zwei cremefarbene mit kleinen „Kotchaks“ und zwei ziegelrote mit Blümchen – umrahmen die bläuliche Hauptbordüre mit vielfarbigen Blütenstielen.
