Sehr bedeutender KIRMAN-Teppich Persien. Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts Wollflor auf Baumwollgrund. Ein wellenförmiges, längliches Feld in Elfenbeinfarbe, bedeckt mit einer Vielzahl vielfarbiger Blütenstiele, umrahmt ein himmelblaues, mehrlappiges Medaillon mit geschwungenen Seitenbögen, einer zentralen Rosette in Altgold und Rubin sowie prächtigen, mit Lilien verzierten Hängern; das Ganze ist mit Pflanzenmotiven verziert. Vier bedeutende, mit Rubinen besetzte Zwickel mit Arabesken, verziert mit mehrfarbigen Ranken und himmelblauen Durchbruchkompositionen, rahmen das Ganze ein. Vier pastellfarbene Gegenbordüren mit Blütengirlanden umschließen die nachtblaue Hauptbordüre, die mit erhabenen Pflanzenranken in vielfarbigen Windungen verziert ist. Von großer Vornehmheit.
