SAROUK-Teppich (Iran) Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts Wollflor auf Baumwollgrund. Ein längliches, achteckiges Feld in Elfenbeinfarbe, bedeckt mit prächtigen, sich entfaltenden Blütenkränzen, die auf einem unentwirrbaren Geflecht aus gewundenen Pflanzenstängeln ruhen, umrahmt ein kreuzförmiges, mehrlappiges Blumenmedaillon in Ziegelrot. Vier marineblaue, mit Pflanzenmotiven verzierte und mit Gold gekrönte Zwickel rahmen das Gesamtbild ein. Die ziegelrote Hauptbordüre, verziert mit wellenförmigen, bunten Blumengirlanden, wird von zwei himmelblauen Gegenbordüren mit Blattwerkgirlanden flankiert und durch kleine Blüten und gebrochene Bänder hervorgehoben.
